Berger Bullets

They work for us on all kinds of game. We take many deer and elk with them each year. Post what caliber you are considering and maybe some additional advice can be given.

Oh, and just in case you were wondering about accuracy at all distances, they are top notch in that department too.

If only they made a 250 or 225gn 338...

Shame on you Berger....

Every berger bullet has had great terminal performance on game and milk jugs full of water.

6.5 140's from 250-600yds, A pinhole going in and a golfball going out, some what "disturbed" in between. :D
Haven't used them alot yet, but they are becoming a favorite.

I am shooting a 270 win now and having a 7 mm Rem being built that will be ready in May, would like to try Berger's in both rifles. Any help is appriciated. Thanks.

I would think 30, 338, 6.5, 6, 223 would be popular calibers to stock bullets in. There are a lot of people shooting the 338's and just from this site alone they could support business of some more 338's.

After this batch of 300's is gone ill be moving to SMK's

I shoot 168 and 180 7mm hunting VLDs. If you hit the animal in the high shoulder with either of these bullets they will not move. Lung shots are nearly as good.

Why move to a similar bullet with less BC?

I have both rifles as well. I shoot the 150 VLD in my 270 with IMR4350 and a Fed215M primer

The 7mag, well, I have some 180 VLDs on the way to try.
