7mm SAUM brass

Can't comment on the SAUM stuff, but I have used the winchester brass for my 7mm WSM and found it to be really good. I did sort, trim, camfer and uniform the primer pockets first. I havn't turned any yet, becuase the loads are consistently shooting under 1/2 MOA. Case life is really good with the winchester also.

I use the Rem brass for my 7 SAUM only because I've had Norma 300 SAUM brass on order for a couple of months. Unfortunately the delivery date keeps getting pushed back. The Rem brass is good, if you work on them. I'm hoping to get longer life with the Norma brass. IMO, If I had a 7 WSM built it would either be a 270-284 or 284-300 and use Norma brass.

I have only used the Remington brass, because I thought that I would have a hard time finding brass so I purchased a large amount and I still have a few hundred unfired. As a rule I am happy with the brass but as has been said you must work on the brass trim, weigh etc.. For my WSM'S I love Norma brass, if I did not have the stash of Remingtons I would be buying the Norma 300 SAUM'S and necking them down.

Nosler now makes brass for the 7SAUM. I have not used it but it has to be better than the Remington brass.
