No More 264 Win Mag in 2012 Remington Sendero

Glad I just got 1. I love mine, sad others do not.

I wish they would run them in 338 rum again.

They should drop the 7mm rem mag and bring back the 338 RUM they don't make any sense....

Specialy since the 33 cals are becoming so popular. Remington is on a winding road to the bottom in my books. The quality just isn't there anymore on the newer rifles. And Savage is kicking the but for bang for your butt. with TC and weatherby right behind savage. They need to come out with a 1 MOA rifle guarentee, or onything they will be known for is there 700 action, just my $.02

I would be willing to bet that the 7mm mag is the best selling caliber in the sendero model. I wish I would have gotten a .264. Its time to check gunbroker or gallery of guns and get one before it too late. Also, I have 2 new 700's and they shoot just like they always have - great!! Alot of the 700 negative talk is pure BS.

They've also dropped the 7 RUM in the Sendero. At the NWTF Convention this weekend I did get to look at the new Model 700 XCR Tactical Long Range 338 Lapua. 26 inch barrel, detachable muzzle break, Sako extractor, DB Magazine, B&C stock. Looked pretty good. The Remington Rep did say that the action had been squared but not bluepinted? Whatever that means. Pretty good looking gun. The Custom Shop is also offering a Custom Sendero now.

I wonder how long the wait would be on the custom shop sendero 338? I can hardly wait 1 week when I buy guns online. I would have a hard time waiting 3 months.

I think the new trend in shooting is small and fast and/or large caliber and longrange. I would really love to see the 264 catch on. If it was created today, it would be the new "hot" caliber

What was the price tag on that rem?

I purchased a brand new Sendero 264 win mag from a big box sporting goods store in November of 2015. Not sure if it is new old stock and they just happened to get one in or if they are making them again.

I called Remington Arms today and they confirmed that for 2016 they are manufacturing the Remington Model 700 Sensor SF II with the .264 Win Mag caliber.

They are having a manufacturing run for March and July.
