WY units

Looking at my land ownership map, it looks like 73 probably has more BLM land than 74 because the unit is a lot bigger even though the percentage when comparing the two is probably less. 48 has a lot of checkerboarded land and I would stay away from that unit. Do you have any PPs for the draw this year? If you don't have any, you will have a problem getting the tags in 73 & 74 without a lot of luck in the Random Draw.

Last years stats look like this for 73 and 74. 73 NR Reg PP Draw----<2 PPs=100% 1 PP=3.13% 73 NR Special Draw---<1 PP=100% 0 PPs=84.06% 74 NR Reg PP Draw----<3 PPs=100% 2 PPs=39.13% 74 NR Special Draw----1 PP=100% <1 PP=83.33%

Topgun lives in michigan, I live here in wyoming and have hunted both units. I also spend a lot of time in both in the off season and know where the animals are in relation to private/public land. Not all of every area holds antelope so what he sees on a map if fairly irrelevant.
 
He can see where we both live by looking right on our posts!!! We all know you're the expert resident out there, as you've mentioned it numerous times on these Forums, LOL! You've also mentioned more than once that you're a violator and shoot illegally off the roads out there too. I called you out on that and maybe that's why you always have to make negative posts when I try to help someone with a few stats! I didn't say anything in my post that wasn't accurate, as no mention was made as far as where animals were located in the units and I would never do that if I haven't been there on the ground. It would have been nice if you had expanded on your original little one sentence in your first post to help him more than making a longer one to put me down in your second! I try to take time and go through draw stats, etc., just like I did here to help people out, and I don't see you saying that those are wrong!

Now for the OP! Good luck in the draw as you should be in pretty good shape to draw the Special with 1PP if things stay as last year!!! From my perspective I would put in for unit 27 where I have been and seen plenty of animals and a number of 80" bucks and you can easily draw that unit in the less expensive Reg PP Draw with 1PP and there are tons of public land to hunt. the draw stats are correct, so why would I say they are wrong? I just wanted to inform the guy that you recommending a unit over one that I recommended is kind of ridiculous since you dont really know what your talking about. I know the areas and I know I am right. That is neither here nor there, I was just reinforcing what I know to be true about how things really are against your perceived synopsis that you came to from looking at a land status map. I refuse to argue with you on here if you want to PM me with empty threats as you have in the past feel free. Sorry to the OP for letting this go off track. Good luck on your goat hunt
 
Look pardner, I didn't recommend any unit over what you stated in that post, so your reading comprehension needs improvement. All that was stated was approximate amounts of public land in the units. Nothing more or less and then I gave the two stats for the unit you suggested, as well as the other. Seeing as how you don't like me for the reason I stated above, I didn't even bring up unit 27 until my last post after you had to make your wisecrack post. I also haven't made any threats against you and, in fact, asked if we could get together while I was out in your area for two months last Fall. That suggestion/request was followed with nothing but silence on your part!

Does it take two of you boys to gang up on somebody now, LOL! As I told you already, I didn't make any recommendations until you made your sarcastic post! As far as that goes, since when are you the only one who can make a recommendation on Wyoming, as I don't remember you being crowned as the only one who can post on here! Why don't the two of you Basin boys go shoot some more yotes off the road, LOL!!! Seems as the two of you are good at it, according to your posts a while back!!! So post my big threatening PM to you if you have it. Why meet? I figured we could settle our differences and shake hands, maybe even shoot a couple yotes legally, as most of this bantering has been BS just like this thread has become.
