NiB Leica 1600 rangefinder $725 shipped
Just got this. Decided I want the new G7 rangefinder. Only time its been used was to put the battery in and range the mountain out the front door.

Hey, huntinfool18,

If you haven't moved the unit already this may help.....maybe.

What if:

You did some long range testing to:

  • Validate ranging capability under different lighting conditions and
  • various animals, cows, horses, dogs and cats.
This would quantify the unit as all units are apparently not equal.

Additionally this would appear, to me, to be a value added service which may, if the unit is a screamer, increase its value substantially.

I'm in the big need of something, I would "settle for" a decent operating 1600, not enough info, for me at least, on G7 beam divergence, and simply too tight to pony up for a Vectronix Terrapin unless, forced too.

Duh, being cheap is really dumb. Especially when I'm shootin' a rig that eats 140+ gr of powder a shot!

I ain't touching this one!! :D

This is a good buy on that 1600

Bump for a great product at a good price

Jeff

Jeff,

Cut me some slack...I'm squirming here.:)

You have no idea of how long it took me to pull the trigger on the 375 deal. An then I flinched!:D

Your ability to range that stubble field yote give me a) the vapors, b) bad dreams c)anxiety attacks.

Just fighting an old fart's tendency to under spend a the determent of success.

And yes it is a good price for a really good product.

I ranged the mountain side at 1900 if that makes any difference. Not real sunny bit not cloudy either.

What I ranged on the mountain was a pine tree the was probably about 20-25 ft tall. Sorry I should have specified. And I used to be in Utah but im in Wyoming now
