Thanks in advance!

Look up Falcon coat, they are located a few miles from me in c. falls MT. He does a great job. falcongunfinishing.com

Check out Montana gun stock company here in Kalispell MT.Owners name is Darren,he is a friend and he will be doing my Edge when it is done.# is 406-257-2949.Bobby

I dont think he has hardley coated any rifles yet. He is just getting into it.

I have seen several guns that he has done and they looked good.He also does the camo dipping which I had done and it turned out great.Bobby

I've had a couple different guns Cerakoted. My 6-284 was Cerakoted by the person who built it and I would never have him do another but I recently had Shawn Carlock W/Defensive Edge build me a .223AI and they also Cerakoted it for me and the Carlocks do an AWESOME job of Cerakoting. I have a couple other guns I'm going to have them do for me now too.

Defensive Edge does an EXCELLENT job and the Carlocks are great people to work with too. I'd highly recommend them!!!

There are only two shops certified in the Dakotas,

SCHILLING CUSTOM SERVICE
Services: Cerakote™
Phone: (605) 209-1832
Address: 14870 229TH STREET
RAPID CITY, SD 57703

and

DAKOTA MACHINE
Services: Cerakote™
Phone: (605) 578-2191
Email: [email protected]
Address: 20353 AUER RD
WHITEWOOD, SD 57793

Proper prep is time consuming and requires expensive materials. It is not uncommon for a non certified shop to cut corners. Be wary of any shop that is not certified. They may have good looking results but if not factory trained and obligated to adhere to proper surface preparation the durability of the coating will suffer.

What exactly is Cera Coating? What are the pros and cons? Thanks

Cerakote is a professionally applied ceramic based coating. It can be applied to plastic and metals. It is far and wawy the most durable and weather resistant finish you can get. The cons ar once applied the only way to get it off is with an abrasive blaster.

You can read up on the product and see many samples in the gallery here. Cerakote Firearm Coatings: Home
