I have a NEF ultra hunter that I am wanting to work up a load for. 22" bbl, and I would like to use some Hornady 58gr A-max bullets. Anyone have any information or experience with that bullet?

The 58grn v-max is not a good choice for a 9.25" twist you would be better suited with 87grn v-maxs, 88grn bergers, or 95grn nosler BTs. If you must, they work well with 210m primers and varget.

From what I understand from Greybeards website, mine is a 1:10 twist.....am I mistaken?

They may have changed to a 10 twist but that is still for heavish bullets, long story short the 58 grn vmax's ideal twist is 1 in 14.

try varget or I4064. also the barrel twist rate is good for a range of weights. i have fired the 55 and 58s in 9 and 10 twist with good results. rem . sako . and browning. barel quailty is a big factor in in how a bullet shoots in a given rilfe.
