Best Ballistic iPhone/iPad App?

Is there any GREAT apps for the iPhone/iPad for Ballistics? One that lets you input the wind, temp, range etc and tells you how to adjust your scope for the shot?

For those of you with an Ipod touch, do I have to subscribe to a monthly 3/4G telephone fee /plan to run the shooter software and use it in the field? I really dont want to pay a monthly fee. just want to use the ipod touch to shoot stuff with ...

I have been using the " Ballistic Field Tactical Edition" app for well over a year with great success. It inputs all the parameters you asked about, and more if required. You pay an up front price only and get free updates when new bullets, loads, and features are released.

Can the Kestrel 4500 blue tooth the data to this program?

I also wonder if I get a Kestrel bluetooth model how do you know what program will accept the Kestrel input through blue tooth and load all the data in the correct places in the program.

Mine doesn't. It's so fast and easy to enter it, I don't think I would bother if it did.

Try "Bullet Flight" from Knights Armament. Get it from the iTunes store. A little more expensive than FTE. I have them both but Bullet Flight is better (lots of reasons).

Make sure you get the military version.

Been playing with Ballistic FTE on an IPOD Touch, I haven't really beat on it as much as I would like. The HUD is awesome to use, pretty user friendly so far.
