I took my boys out yesterday to shoot a little bit and had one of them video a 2000 yard shot. Check it out. It was a pretty calm day. Only a 2MPH wind from 3 o'clock. I was dialed .5 MOA left for spin drift and coriolis, and 71.75 up.

I'm shooting the 300 SMK at 2850 FPS. I have a 30" Broughton barrel with a DE brake. I use a NF 5.5x22 scope, NF rings, NF 40MOA rail, and DE ring cap with level and angle indicator. I can get about 82 moa of up travel with this setup from a 100 yard zero. I use Shooter ballistic software and it has been working really well. I like the coriolis option on it. I use a Swarovski rangefinder. It will read 2000 yards in the evening so I put a marker in the ground at the 2000 yard mark from that cliff. I usually use a Harris swivel bipod with a Red Tac bag for the rear. I shoot here alot because it has alot of different rock outcroppings at different distances and the wind can get tricky through that canyon so it is good practice. There is a canyon that opens up from the right that you can't see and sometimes you will get wind from it so you really have to look close at weeds or heat waves to see what its doing. I let my boys shoot here alot and they are actually really good for being 13 and 15 years old.
