According to the Boone and Crockett web site this bull came from a game farm in Idaho. Amazing what goes around the net!!!

****! Faked out again. I'll get one my son-in-law about leading me astray.
If it came from Idaho, it may well have come from Rulon Jones' operation in Firth.
If not then then the Weight Watchers people, Ferguson up the road a bit.
If not them there's a couple more operation further up the road.
I've been thinkin' to contact Rulon, just to ensue a shot. Squat, the place is over 2000 acres and would be a fun hunt if ya could keep the hazers out of the place.
I hunt all around it. But too much of the outside property is posted.

My neighbor took his son, Cody to Roulons place this fall, for a graduation present.
He was going the cheap route to shoot a management bull. basically a 320 or smaller of the guides choice to clean up the genetics.
The story was the whole camp took a shine to the Dave and Cody who couldn't afford a nice bull and were doing this once in a liftime bonding thing, Well about day 3 after no luck on the "little guys" the guide tells him this is a managment bull so go ahead.
The kid used a 270wsm with factory loads out of an x-bolt and a 2x10 viper by vortex.
Resting off his pack at 200 yards put 2 bullets in the boiler room about 2" apart. A camera crew at the ranch on a hunt filmed Cody's hunt.
420" somthing!
