I have a first generation blued Sendero in .25-06. I thought the trigger was pretty decent until I bought a Remington police in .308 that had trigger work done to it. Now the Sendero feels like pulling a cat off a screen door to me. Are these triggers easy to adjust? Which aftermarket drop-in trigger would you recommend without breaking the bank. Where would you recommend purchasing it? I can't afford a $300 Jewel or Timney.

Thanks! :)

jewell 215.00 good , huber 275.00 better, but you can easily adjust your trigger to 2 1/2 - 3lbs - if you need - how to - info pm me

Brownells, Shilen trigger part number 801-700-100 cost $99.99, Riflebasix safety kit is part number 758-000-011 cost $37.99.

No problem, I have installed several of both and shot them all and I continue to install Shilen's on all of my clients rifles as well as my own. Enjoy

I have a Shilen set at 2 ozs on my Rem 700 SPS Tactical and I love it. So easy to hold the gun steady and squeeze em off. I also own a couple Canjars but if I had to buy another trigger it would be another Shilen.

I just installed a Jewell hvrtsbr-a (has top right safety and bolt release) trigger on my Remington Sendero 7 RUM and love it. The factory trigger was not bad after I adjusted it to about 2.5 lbs but I decided to spring for the Jewell. I think I paid $215 at Great Scott Shooters Supply. It's a great trigger. I comes from the factory set at 1 pound but has two additions springs with it that allow it to be set from 1 oz. to 3.5 lbs. I also like the fact that all adjustment screws can be adjusted with the action still installed in the stock. The adjustment screws also have nylon inserts so that you don't have to seal the screws between adjustments.

Save your money and buy a good trigger.

Iam thinking about replacing mine to. The part I am having probs with. Is the safty I see that some say use your safty. What is up with that I would realy like a locked down bolt when safty is on. But as no shock to every one that a 2 position remmy with bolt lock has a so called recal. So I gess Iam looking for a 3 position? info please
