I know this rangefinder either reads in yards or meters (you do not have an option to switch like the new Leica CRF 1000 or the Leica CRF 1600).

So is there a way to tell which one you have? The yards model or meters?

TIA

The CRF 1200 was either or yards or meters.

Leica CRF 1200 - Y or Leica CRF 1200 - M

If you want to know which you have and no longer have the box, remove the battery. There is a sticker on the top side under the battery. Y = yards M= Meters.

My Lieca 1200 crf, sguare green and black, is switchable. Under the battery cover next to battery there is a small standard screw slot and it points to yards or meters

Thanks!

Hi Broz, thanks for the information on the yards/metres option. I have been looking for some time to determine which one I have. My next stage was to do a measurement.
