Looking for a long action winny m70 to build a 280 AI off of. Where are the best places to find one? Not having much luck finding one. Maybe have to buy whole rifle, used to get one?

Pawn Shops, there is also a guy wanting to trade a M70 here. I can find them for $275-$400 around the Denver area.

I picked one up today off of auction arms for 700.00. A very nice "Like new" (98% NRA Grade) complete rifle at that chambered in 300wm.

Check there, gunbroker and "gun list". I've seen them sell as low as 350-400.00 for plain blued rifles that are showing some wear.
