Wsm questions

Between 61 & 64 grains of RL-19 & 140 Accubonds seem to be made for eachother in all three 270 wsm's I load for.

It's a non belted case, & as easy to load for as any other round. Nothing to be intimidated by.

My experience with two rifles in this caliber is that it is very easy to load for and very accurate. 60-63 gr of IMR4350, 215 primers, 140gr Accubond or Ballistic tips. 3200 fps, .25-.5 MOA out of my Winchester Model 70, Two of my buddies get the same results out of a Kimber and a Browning.

Thank you guys for all the replys. My goal is to shoot the 165 grn matrix bullet with.a bc of .650. This should be a sweet combo. At lest I hope.

I've found the combination of 165 Matrix and 270WSM almost stupid easy to load, every rifle I've loaded them into shot better.

Thank you bigngreen, I was doing some research on the site and came across your 270wsm 865yrd elk kill. Awesome to say the lest. I love the fact that there are not a lot of people shooting 270wsm for long-range. I would be the odd man out not using the "typical" cartridges. How many grains of retumbo are you using and what is your overall length. Can I seat the matrix bullets out far enough in a short action?
