Has any one here used TTC knob from kentonindustries? If so, pls kindly give your opinion of same. I'm thinking of getting TTC knob for old Leupold Vari X III coin slot elevation adjustment knob, and wonder if it will work, and if it would be worth it. The maker assured me that they can supply knob that would fit.

I'm waiting on mine right now. Everday the UPS truck zooms by...Ahhhhhhh. From what I have read they make a pretty good turret. Of course, probably 90% of the effectiveness will probably be determined by the info you supply them with. I understand they are much swamped at this time but...I read somewhere that for extra $$$ they will make yours right away, (read not a fact)

having one put on my new nightforce while Hill Country Rifles is doing some work on it. They swear by them and said I would not be disappointed. Cant wait to try it..............is it Oct 2012 yet??

Thanks for both responses. I wasn't looking for custom dial-in, but may reconsider. Otherwise the cost for plain 1/4 MOA markings may not justify the cost of the knob. May be I'd just leave the Leupold as it is and buy new Vortex PST with modern knobs and have a better value.

They make an excellent product that works, yes even on the older coin slots. Just make sure and test the accuracy of the scope adjustments prior to ordering.

+1 on testing the tracking of the scope first. Some of the older VX 3's have tracking issues. New ones don't. I have two TTC's, awesome!!

I have three of there turrents, all on vx-3's love them. Have both custom and moa type. The moa's the way to go if you ever plan on changing anything with your load, or even major change in elevation. I use moa on my hunting rifle as everything can change on a moments notice and custom cut on my varment rig that seldom varies.

Thanks. Appreciate your comments. BTW can you install the knob after you 've sighted in, and set the knob at zero?

Yes, you can and will install after zero. As far as MOA adjustment, I was under the impression the VXIII models were in IPHY (inches per hundred yards). I would double check prior to ordering as at long distance the rounding matters.

Thanks for reminding. The leaflet instruction says some division indicates 1 moa while others division indicates 1/2 moa. I checked the actual turret dial, and it indicated 1 division= 1/4 moa.:)
