Considering getting a arrmalite ar30 338 lapua. Does anyone know if it compares with thee rem 700 action? 1000+ yard accuracy?

From what I've gathered the AR is better all the way around. I also understand that it is a very "true" setup requiring little machine work, if any, to true up.
This from one discussion, years ago with a reputable smith.
Quite untrustworthy info but good enough for me to want an AR-30 for a build....

I had one several years ago and after I worked up a load it shot .35 moa at 100 yds. I remember covering the whole 5 shot group completly with a dime.
The furthest I ever tried was 600 yds once and did a 2.5 inch group there. As I recall I was using H1000 and 300 gr Sierra Match King, but don't recall exact load.
