Nightforce 3.5 - 15 X 50 NXS F1 - Front Focal Plane | Reticle?

Hi guys,

I've just gone and put an order in for the 'new' Nightforce NXS F1 in 3.5 - 15 X 50 with the MLR2 reticle in MIL/MIL.

Thing is I've never seen the MLR2 reticle up close (only via their web site) and was wondering if anyone else had any experience in using the 'new' F1 reticles out there?

Nightforce have detailed descriptions on general use for their other reticles and sorta helps you decide on which one to get depending on what type of shooting you are going to do - but alas, no descriptions for any of the F1 reticles as such.

I'll be using this scope on my Savage 10FP in 308 for hunting, tactical shoots and general range work. I also want the ability to range the distance from any magnification - hence the F.F.P.

Anything I've missed here?

No personal experience with this reticle, but it sure looks "busy" to me for a hunting scope.

Good point there!

That's why I didn't choose the new 'Christmas tree' style of reticle, Nightforce call the "Velocity 1000" as to me that is way too busy

THe MLR2 reticle is a FANTASTIC reticle. You would not be disapointed.
