load density in .338 rum ?

My best load to date using a cutting edge MTH D60 LD HPBT-STD .338 CAL 252 GR bullet is with 93.0 gr. retumbo , wolf lrm primer ,in a remington case. The rifle is a remington 700 .338 RUM. custom shop with a 26 inch barrel. I am getting sub moa groups with a muzzle velocity of 2861 fps. With this load, I have reached maximum case capacity using the this bullets recommended seating depth 3.752 is C.O.L. I am going to try the cutting edge 225 gr. MTH D62 LD HPBT-MAX next. I am looking for a powder recommendation, hopefully one that will provide more velocity without being a compressed load. If anyone out there has load information on these two bullets I would be grateful. Thank You Denny.

Try some H-1000, you should be able to get better velocity. You will need to work up on the powder charge because the new lots of powder are faster burning than the older lots.

I run 99gn of H1000 behind the 225gn Hornady Interbond for 3130fps.

I would work up to this with your CE pills.

that is about the velocity I used to get with the old lots of H-1000. With the new lots, I am around 3150 with 97 gr and 3300 with 100 gr with 225 accubonds and similar with interbonds and tipped tripple shocks

I don't know what H 1000 they are selling you yanks, but the stuff we get down here is unchanged.
I have a lot that just came from the factory and it is exactly the same as the one I got 2 years ago. I have not noticed any difference.
The stuff is made here and sent over there in bulk. It is then packed in tubs labled H1000. Maybe they put the wrong powder in a batch of H 1000 tubs when they repackaged it?

The lots I am referring to are from about 5 years ago. The lots over the last several years have stayed the same.

My 8lb can, lot number 4894 is "hotter" than the older stuff. Seems odd that they can't make a consistent powder from lot to lot.
