i have 2 simple questions for you builders,,,,,
can i build a 7mm wsm on a short action mod 7 action and
what is the advantage of a 7stw over a 7mm rem mag ??

can i build a 7mm wsm on a short action mod 7 action: In short, yes. But the model 7 SA is actually a little shorter than a normal SA. It will work, but you may have to pull your bolt to eject a loaded round. A regular short action is better, and some guys say a LA is best due to the length of the high BC 160-180 bullets.


and what is the advantage of a 7stw over a 7mm rem mag ?? The STW will give you 150 to 200 fps over the 7RM especially in the heavier bullets. It would be the better of the 2 for long range.
