Been looking around for a while and finally decided to check in. I live in MD so there isn't really much long range hunting to speak of but there are a few places to shoot out to 1K if you know where to look and ask nicely. I'm not much of a distance shot yet but am looking forward to the insights of the members. Pretty much all of my rifles are stock at the moment but I'm hoping to dump some cash into my Remmy some time soon to get it ready for some F-class and tactical shoots in the area. Still saving up for quality glass.
I was an Infantry Marine from 90 to 94 stationed at LeJeune so I have a lot of the basics but I'm still working on my math for the fun LR stuff.
I know some of the people here already. Ed Shell has provided me with a lot of very good info via the MD Shooters forum and I've heard some of the other names around as well.
