I was trolling the Hide and someone had posted this video [ame=http://www.vimeo.com/28858208]Crying Wolf Movie (HD) on Vimeo[/ame] and to my surprise I know most the guys in it, heck some of them have known me since I was in diapers. Very well done and very much reality!
Takes a little to load but worth it! Few more weeks and it's legal open season, I really want to get one for the wall that I wouldn't have to worry about getting in trouble for gun)

Just did the same thing.

Can't say AMEN enough...and not just about the wolves...this goes much deeper than that and people in this country need to wake up to that fact. This ties it all together in a philosophically consistent and correct way, not the confused 'take a little here, take a little there' junk beliefs that many people feed on.

I try to tell people about how the "green" or "environmental" people are simply big gov. progressives trying to control every aspect of our lives, or at least TAX every aspect of our lives, and everyone laughs at me....

I live in communistafornia and this video is being sent out to every citiot (city-idiot) liberal I know in hopes they watch this video with the open mind they claim to have.......

Some will not like that the Bible was brought in to this but it's frankly an essential part of what makes rural MT the paradise it was, the old school rancher in the video take the view that they are just here for a while and they are taking care of the land that they have, and that it's all of ours to share as a God given right and job.
This is what has made this country the hunting and outdoors wonder land it is, but what is eroding this is the belief that it's all ours, I own it and can do what ever I want with it cause my name is on a piece of paper, mine, mine, mine!!! This country is not what it used to be because the first thing the new style land owner does is make darn sure no one touches it or anything coming on or of of it and any public land near it, this is not stewardship it's ownership. We now have the Fed Gov taking "ownership" of our public lands when they were entrusted to be stewards.
If you think religion has no place then we are going to loose, look who we are fighting against, they are fully engaged in a religious battle and we are trying to fight them on another level and trying to be politically correct.
Taking care of our land and the animals on it is a GOD given right, if it is not then it is a privilege given to use by the Government and history will repeat itself, a history that gave birth to this Nation!!!!

Kudos to the young people who made the documentary.

I know a bit about starting out in film making. They have a future if they can slog through the beginnings.

I appreciate the patience of the ranchers. They are a bit more lenient about sucking up the costs than I would be. To help out I do do as much pro-Bono predator control as I can work in.

I would be glad to debate faith and religion with you but this is not the place to do so, this wolf and land management does have a very strong faith element to it for a lot of the people it affects the most so ignoring it is not dealing with the subject as a whole but on public forums, run by private individuals it is very difficult to engage in a full, honest debate without pushing up against the lines which Len has established. Likely I've pushed them already so please do not push this any farther but just know it's there I guess.
The young man who put this video together speaks very honestly and very well for the people who are at the heart of the wolf issues, it's the most honest video I've seen yet!!!!
