Most reliable aftermarket trigger

My AR15 is quite the accurate rifle. The stock trigger that came with the DPMS parts kit is rock solid, tough as nails reliable. Without fail, every time I squeeze, it turns 26 grains of N133 into noise and something gets a 5.56mm hole in it. Its only downfall is its quite heavy. Its even heavier than my stock Howa trigger. For obvious reasons, I don't want to use a spring kit and loose that absolute reliability. Because AR pattern rifles use a floating firing pin, I haven't rushed out and bought an aftermarket trigger. I don't need or want a super light target trigger. What I would like is something as reliable as my stock trigger but only has about a 4.5 pound trigger pull. If I have to choose, reliability trumps pull weight. I don't want to have the crosshair centered on the vitals and hear that dreaded click instead of bang. So, who makes the most reliable aftermarket trigger?

I have used several different brands and given your criterial, the Geiselle non adjustable enhanced match trigger meets them all. It breaks like glass, has a strong spring that will pop any primer made, and comes in at around 3.5 pounds. It is very well made. No mods required for an easy install. It's not cheap at 200 bucks, buts its probably the best and dead reliable. Next in line would be the Rock River Match, it comes in at 1 pound heavier than the Gieselle and is half the price. Neither of these triggers have adjustments which tend to reduce consistency over time.

Thanks for the reply. 200.00 is a bit stiff but if it will give me what I am looking for its money well spent. I'll take a look at the RRA trigger as well.

I decided to revisit this thread and post and update. I settled on an ALG trigger. The company is owned by the wife of the man who owns Geiselle. This trigger uses full power springs, breaks at a consistent 5 pounds AND HAS ZERO CREEP!!!. Did I say zero creep? yes this trigger has zero creep. The best part is that it's only 65 dollars. It's a perfect field trigger. My rifle still shoots like its possessed, only now I have much more control over when the shot breaks. The critters better be very afraid.
