what stock, help

have a savage model 111 im building. its a long action with the 5 inch screw spacing and a dbm. having trouble finding a drop in stock for my build. anyone know where i can find one without breaking the bank

Check Numrick Gun Parts. They sell "leftovers" and such from Savage, and may have one to fit your rifle. I purchased 2 at far less than any other aftermarket stock.

If you want the traditional sporter look the new A-3 sporter from McMillan is a good one to look at.

If you just want pure practicality look at the Choate ultimate varminter.

Bell and Carlson's M-40 and Medalist varmint/tactical line are worth a look as well.

Give them a call. They offer DBM's for most models and will order your stock inlet accordingly.
