Well, it has been a busy day of fun and new things.

Had a friend who made a shot using his toe to pull the trigger, and was challenged to do the same.
With long toes and shoe size of 14 I thought maybe I could do it. I practiced dry-firing on the living room floor this morning.
My wife walked in and wondered what in the world I was doing.:uhm:
So here is the video clip for your viewing enjoyment.
XP-100 built by Mac's Gunworks chambered in 6.5 Leopard.

I had ordered a 22/45 Ruger with threaded barrel, pic rail on top and below the barrel, that really got my attention as I have a Thunder Beast 22lr suppressor, and thought it would be a great platform.
It came in today, and so out to Mac's Gunworks to get the paper work done and give it a run through.
I was extremely pleased with the accuracy with a variety of ammo tried, trigger was better than I expected, and the can made things quiet with sub-sonic, high velocity and even hyper velocity rounds.
I am very pleased with the whole package.
The Burris sight was also great and easy to adjust.

I also did more load development with the 338AX (338 Lapua Improved) but the first Gen 300 grain Berger's did not perform well:tissue:
Gen 2 is out now and I will try them in the future
I will use the 300 grain SMK's for elk this year.

But Derrick did film me shooting it off-hand:

The brake is Kirby Allen's Pain Killer brake

Somehow I have a hard time understanding why your wife did not have you committed when she found you using your toe to pull the trigger. Don't know how you pulled that one off at all. As big as you are a person just has to wonder I guess. :)
Haven't heard from you for a while. Hows the secret project coming. :)

ROFL :D I guess that adds a new twist to FOOT POUNDS OF ENERGY.
I knew Michael Blackburn "The world's greatest sharpshooter" and he used to have what he called his toe rifle. He used a Winchester leaver 22lr and would hit all kinds of targets holding the rifle with the toes of one foot and pulling the trigger with big toe on his other foot. Of course this guy was the most awesome shot I have ever seen. Shooting from the shoulder he would use a Winchester leaver 22lr and would flip a dime, nickel or quarter in the air and let you call heads or tails and he would shoot it on what you called. Blew my mind.

WOW that brake is awesome. Reverse muzzle flip.

HOLY CRAP, an XP-100 .338 AX!!!!! Kirby has my CZ 550 Safari Magnum building me a long range thumper AX right now, but an XP-100, now THAT is KILLER!!!!!

Hopefully within a month.
