I have been wanting a 338 lap,but came across a 300 rum that is practily brand new and got a bargin on it. What can I expect from it long range at a grand or so

Plan on pulling it a part, check the bedding etc if that's all good find a load it likes and you should be very good to go.

They are built to be shooters.
