I finally found the rifle I was looking for at a great price. I have a Remington LSS in 300 rum on the way. I am going to order a rail and some rings this morning and the reloading stuff that I am going to need. I plan to shoot 200 TTSX out of it. The scope that is going on it is a zeiss rapid z 800.

I guess I'm a little late..

Hey I will throw this out there. I have a remington BDL with engraving on receiver, Spiral fluted bolt by Kampfield customs, Greybull precision stock gray with black webbing, factory trigger at 2lbs and factory bottom metal engraved with bighorn sheep, #5 Lilja stainless fluted barrel with Holland oversized lug pinned, Holland brake, Wyatts mag, DNZ 1 piece 1"mounts High, Stock has been bedded, barrel is 27" long, RCBS FL Die, Redding Fl die, 50 Pieces of new Nosler Brass. 32 documented rounds and shoots lights out with RL 25 and 200 gr Accubonds. I can get pictures if interested. All work done by Loren Peters whose Daughter is Laura Goetsch who is the National champ F class shooter. He is a good guy.

I am afraid its probably out of my price range, but a sweet looking rig. Plus I just sent out the check for the LSS I agreed to buy... so for now I will be rocking a factory 300 ultra.

Great choice on the lss. Just a heads up almost all of the lss. 300rums had a lot of freebore. Mine would not shoot vlds anywhere near mag length. Oh, and if you are gonna run heave pills I would have somebody lined up to put a break on it cause it will kid the **** outta you.

I'm gonna shoot the 200 ttsx. They like some bullet jump so Hopefully it works out. If not ill get an extended magazine box.

I'm jumping the 200g LRX quite a ways (.22") in my Sendero and they're shooting .7 MOA consistently. Hopefully your LSS is similar.

holy cow thats a long way!
Yeah, it is.

The mag box on my Sendero is only 3.68" in length (inside dimension), so I load my bullets at an OAL of 3.62". According to my hornady OAL gauge, the max OAL (touching lands) in my Sendero with the 200g LRX is 3.84". I was a little skeptical at first, but I loaded some up to fit in the mag box and they shot well, so I haven't screwed with it.

I was also shooting the 165gr hornady gmx in mine seated to mag length at right around 3450fps with imr4350 and they were devastating with a point blank range of 375yards. Stellar for short range hunting. They were giving me groups around .370 center to center at 125yards. My gun flat out loved them. Haven't ran them through the new kreiger barrel yet though.

so thats the original magazine box? I may have to order up a wyatts just to be sure
Yes, original mag box. If I were you, I'd shoot some at mag length before ordering a wyatt's box. My plan had also been to order a Wyatt's......until I started seeing the groups that I was shooting with the mag length OAL.

Tikkamike glad you found one. I shot that gun you were interested in today. I had to boresight it after changing the rings and bases. After making adjustments, the last 3 shots were less than 1/2 inch at 100yds. It was loaded with the 200gr Accubonds. My friend will be happy. I sure would like to hear from you on how the 200TTSX's shoot. What powder are you going to try? RL25 or Retumbo?
