Kinda a proud daddy moment I though you guys might get a kick out of, took my daughter out fishing for the second time this evening and she scored on her first and second trout, the first one was smallish but it just wouldn't revive so we keep it and the big one was going home with us for sure. Kinda proud of her, she's the only one out there doing her own fishing on the kids pond all she would let me do was bait for her :D Gear list: Pink Disney Princes rod and tackle box, drag set to Godzilla, floating a worm 2ft of the bottom.

Awesome! My 3 year old daughter caught her first bluegill last summer and told me the other day that she's not afraid of worms anymore so we can go fishing again :) she has the same princess rod.

The smile says it all. Thanks for teaching the future generation on what it's all about. I remember those first times out with my Dad. Priceless......

It's fun and a privilege to be a dad, you should have heard the chatter coming out of that little girl after the first one and then she caught the big one and she was talking a mile a minute and dancing around like she had ants in her pants :D

My 11 year old Granddaughter caught her first catfish two weeks ago, I think I was as happy with that 1 1/2 cat as all of the fish I've caught myself...Unforgetable.

Keep the memory, and the picture, because 30 years is but the blink of an eye.

Thank you for sharing with us.

I've thought about that from time to time as I see her grow and it almost breaks my heart but at the same time I can't wait to see what kind of young lady she will be!!!

sp6x6, she's working on it, she handy with her little pink Savage .22lr. It's kinda funny but she is so worried about the little animals and the worms but she won't hesitate to blow a gopher a way or sink a worm.gun)

the smile is what it is all about. To quote Mr.Charley Pack "keep the kids on the creeks and off the streets" Worked for me :D
