Looking for the load data from berger for 7mm rem mag with 140 & 168 vld's. I've e-mailed them twice in the last two weeks and gotten no response. If anyone has the spreadsheet from Berger, I could really use it. Thanks!

In my 26" barrel 7mm rem mag I am using 168 bergers, just into lands
federal brass
federal 215 primer
72gr H1000
3068 fps, although my new tin of H1000 with 72 gr gave 3115 fps so work up to it.

Seems like a pretty warm load. I wouldn't be able to open the bolt on my 7 with that much powder shooting at those velocities. My last load was 70.5gr of H1000 with velocities around 3000fps. I guess every gun and ammo combo is different with showing signs of pressure.

I'm also shooting 72grs. of H1000, Win. brass, Fed 215m @ .010" off the lands in my Rem 700XCR, 26" barrel with the 168VLD's. The velocity is 3035fps. It's a warmer load with about 3x and the brass is chucked.

LoadData has 40 loads for your exact combination.

The 168gr. that is.

Be happy to send them to you if you wish.

I could sure use that data. My rifle is a weatherby Vanguard, submoa, in7mm REM.
I have been trying the berger 168vld and I'm looking for the perfect load. Right now I'm having trouble getting my velocities consistent. Any one else shooting the vanguard with this bullet.

Here's what Walt Berger sent me last year for the 168/180... (hopefully the posting will retain the table formatting. But, I'm not going to fight with it. )

...well, pasting the table didn't work so well. Hope this is legible...

So are these just suggested starting points?

Max Load

I think Walt Berger pulled this data from Quick Load.

So, I would definitely start low and work up.

I only tried h4831sc and re-22. Both gave good results that were similar to the data in the table.

If anyone needs any Berger, Nosler, or Hornady load data, feel free to ask. I have all 3 manuals sitting on my bench at home. I will be glad to help in any way I can.
