just finished putting together a Remington sendero action and barrel dropped into a bell and carlson stock, with leupold mark 4 bases and rings and a zeiss 4.5-14x50. just getting into reloading and wondering if anyone can give me a head start on a good load to begin development with? Is H1000 a good place to start? with maybe some bergers or accubonds???

Much appreciation for any help

H-1000 and 210 Bergers have shot very well in the 300 win senderos I have worked with. Start about 73 grains and work up in 1/2 gr increments toward 77 or until pressure shows up.

I love h1000 for my 300wm and I have had good luck with the 208gr Amax's Im at work so I cant give you the numbers but it is up toward the listed max loads.

retumbo and 225 grain hornady match. 78.5 grn @ 2725 79.5 grn at 2775 and 80.5 at 2825. (24" barrel) the first 2 loadings at 80.5 seemed fine but the bolt lift got slightly hard on the third and the primer pockets loosed up a little. backed it down to 79.5. 2nd loading with easy bolt lift(new cases)gun)

I've been using 190 Berger VLD with 79grs of H100 and Norma brass, 215M primers out of my 700 Sendero with a 26" barrel. My velocities are at 2960 average but I see occasional impression of the ejector on the brass. I feel I'm at the max pressure because of this. My groups are .5 MOA so I'm happy with this. Took it out to 600 yds last weekend and it stayed within the .5 MOA.

thanks guys. picked up some h1000 and some vlds yesterday. going to be doing barrel break in with some factory loads I had laying around.
A friend of mine loves 4350 in his 300 WSM. Would this also be a good option for the 300 win mag or is it a little fast burning??
again, thanks for the help

for lighter bullets in the say165 grain area it works fine however in the heavy high bc area you wont beable to fill your cases full which can cause larger velocity spreads
