Speer 165gr spitzer boat tail????

I've used them on both a Remington 700 in 30-06 and DPMS AR-10 in .308. They're perfect deer bullets and accurate. I favor the Hornady 165BTSP because they shoot a little more accurate in my rifles.

Did any of you guys do any BC testing on these? If in fact these 165s have a .52 as they claim, they should perform admirably for those of us hunters with magazine COAL limitations. If this BC is true these are head and shoulders above everything else around this weight class.

If anyone knows the true BC of these bullets, please inform.

Thanks,
Tim.

It was YEARS ago when I shot them and I wasn't as concerned about b.c. as I am now but I would be REALLY surprised if it is that high! I'm thinking more in the .450 range?

See, that's why I'm asking. I would not think the bc is any better than the same weight Hornadys or other manufacturers. But if it is better, that would be nice.

Has anyone used these bullets? Are they accurate? What are your thoughts????
I have been using the Speer #2034 165gr. BTSP for many years in a heavy barreled Howa 1500 rifle and many other rifles and all shot great with my load of 42gr. IMR 4064. It gives me 2500 FPS which isn't the fastest but it is the most accurate load of all I worked up. The Hornady 168gr. BTHP match with the same loading shoots to same point of aim.
