I've shot Hornady Superformance ammo in my 300 Win Mag with outstanding results and was excited to see Hodgden release the Superformance powder for reloaders. However, they are only publishing data for a very small number of calibers, not including the 300WM. Does anyone know if they are using different blends of powders for different calibers or if it is all the same powder? If it is the same powder, pulling a few bullets from the factory Hornady loads would yield the powder weights easily enough. Any experiences, thoughts, or information out there? I'm willing to experiment a bit but not willing to blow up a gun (or myself).

Yes, I have heard that there are different blends for different calibers and the initial release of Superformance Powder is the blend used for the specific calibers which they published data for. If it takes off I suppose other blends will be released based on the popularity of the cartridges which it performs best in. Based on the popularity of your 300 Win Mag I'd guess it won't be a long wait for you.
