I am itching to try some of those in my 6mm284.

Looks about right based on were the 95gr VLD's fall.
I use the 88gr FB High BC varmint (.391) by berger for yotes.... Deadly!

I use the 95's for deer and antelope since thats what I intended to shoot when I had the rifle built.

That I don't know, I added them to an order I got a couple a months ago from Cabela's.
Bought them to try in a 6mm AI with a 10 twist. Winter just won't let go here in Ohio, I have yet to get out and try them.

Well thats kinda dissappointing...Was hoping itd be quite a bit higher then that since my dads coyote light 243 is a 1 in 10 and he wants to shoot a longer range bullet, but its hard to find that with a 1 in 10.
I told him to go with the 87g vmax any day over the berger. Half the price almost, practically same BC .400, give up nothign to bergers in accuracy, and your gettin splat factor.
I'll let him know the BC is only .012 higher then the vmax and let him make his own decision.

You took the words right out of my mouth, the entire time I was reading this thread I was thinking the same thing .400 vs .412. I guess if you're a Berger guy its a win, other than that...? I would like to see/hear how they perform on game, the V-Max is an antelope killng machine (if place properly) but I don't think i'd use it on a big muley....
Lets get some of the guys that used them to chime in...

I was running the 87 V-Max out of a standard .243 w/RL-19 & FED-210m @ just over 3100; I don't know where that is as far as speed goes but that is where accuracy came in.

I have had the 87gr v-max blow up on the shoulder bone of coyotes. So with that being said I now personally stay clear of using them on anything but varmints at long range. I prefer the 88gr Berger varmints for coyotes, they have a little heavier jacket and penetrate better, even breaking some bone on chest shots. If you have a 1:10 you could try shooting a 95gr VLD but with a .243 it may not be fast enough to stabilize. But again, ever rifle has its own personality. One of the most beautiful things about a 6mm is the bullet selection.
The 87gr VLD would be a superior bullet for deer sized game vs. a 87gr v-max IMHO. I would choose a bullet that retains its weight and kinetic energy vs. a fragmenting bullet any day of the week for deer or antelope.
I would consider the 85gr interbond for deer size game but boy are they $$$. They should work in a 1:10 .243
