Looking for distance range KS/MO

I would be interested, but have too limited funds to buy land for my hobby. My wife would shoot me with the rifle I just bought. Anything I would consider would have to be cheap--cheaper than Mill Creek.

I live in Bucyrus, KS, just south of KC, BTW.

RFtinkerer, I'm definitely with you on the too broke to afford property. And, besides MY wife would shoot me with YOUR rifle and then hock mine. (Honey, if you are reading this, I'm just kidding).

Anyway, I was leaning toward an arrangement with a land owner that has a safe place to shoot any distance over 300 yds. I'd be willing to pay a small daily fee for the use of the range. If the land owner was into long range shooting I'd even let him join in and shoot my rifles.

I'm not looking for anything formal, I just want to develop the skills; and thats hard to do without a place to shoot.

in houston mo there is a range that you can shoot out to 700 all year and 800 most of the year (something to do with archery season on an adjacent lot)

Big Piney sportsmans club they have a website. It might be to far but I thought id put it out there for you guys.
