looking 4 a smith to build a ruger no 1 custom

can anyone recommend a good relaible smith to build a custom no 1 .

hofmiester custom shop does work on them , but i've never heard anything good or bad about them .

The Hofmeister shop does great work. I have had Christain work on a bunch of stuff and it all turned out great. He barreled a HUGE 50 cal for me and the machine work was great!

If Christian works on #1, I would have no problem using him for a project, Great guy and great craftsman.

thx for all that replied , it put my mind to ease using someone that is held in high regard ,
i was taken advantage of once before and now i'm carefull as ever .
extra play money is harder to come by lately .

I Have a project #1 in Christian shop right now and it should be shipped Mid April. It's taking longer but from what I can find out he is, the # 1 Ruger #1 guy.
