Aussie Long Range shooter.

Centrehit,

Please do, there is nothing else that caters specifically for the long range shooter in Aus.

It may be slow to catch on, but lets hope that it grows, as it becomes more well known.

I'm in mate, just signed up.I hope it takes off, kind of sick and tired reading about .22's, 303's and "What's that plastic junk" on other aussie forums.

Thats it mate. 100% the reason it has been started.

Hope to make it interesting the more advanced shooter.

Its the site dedicated to Aussie long range shooters. There could be some interesting developements in the future including organised hunts and long range field shoots on private property.

I am investigating a property at the moment. Can shoot to about 2000 yards.

Id be keen on having a go at the long range property. Ive been having some fun plinking out to approx 1000yds at a freinds property but would like to try some more long range playing in the bush.

I m from victoria i do it quite a bit on proerty out to 500 mtrs im ok with stock stanard t3 in 06

nop i would't shoot at Sambar with 06 past 300mtrs is ok but when shooting off the bench had good result hitting small stuff apples craws or pies , if I'll be able to tune 200gr sierras at 2650fps then i might think 500mtrs on sambar

finally had some luck with 200 sierras in 06 53.5 w760 on lands 20mm diff in vertical between 180 sierras
