Im putting parts together to have my first semi custom rifle together. Im converting my ADL Rem 700 to BDL. The conversion kits on Burnell's comes in Long action Mag and Long action. I am building a 300 win mag. Would that put me in the long mag catagory? Don't want to find out later that I guessed wrong. Thanks for your help.

You want the long action mag because the Remington actions are the same length, but the magnums
have the larger bolt face (.534) and body size. The larger RUMs have a port/window in the mag box
that helps to get more room in it and thew should work just fine.

Just make sure you don't get an "Extended Mag" because some smithing is required.
