I have been looking around and this looks like the place to get the help i need, i mean every time i search something it brings me here. I have hunted just about everything ID has to offer minus sheep, goat, and moose. I love the out doors and love to shoot, thanks everyone for making what seems to be a great site.

From Salmon, currently serving time in hell...the Treasure Valley. My brother lives in Poky though, just bought a house there. You know anything about the 2235 Elk X tag in unit 74X? How limited is access, is it private land permission only type hunt, any info would be helpful.

Nice choice on a hunt! I just came back from 7 days of deer hunting in that unit, it was on the other side of the unit from you area but none the less a great unit. I looked at the area description kinda hard to tell the boundaries but when i get off work i will whip out my maps and look. As far a access not real clear on boundaries so no idea. I do know i have a little bit of family and the other 2 guys i hunt with have some family in that area so i will let you know when i find out.

Too bad your a 1Br. 4B is much better. Both are way better than Utahr where I am for a while.

I too am from Idaho. The wife and I are hunting unit 39, we are both some what disabled and having a heck of a time finding a deer to shoot. She has a doe tag and I am trying to find a buck. But it seems that most of Boise also hunts up there. Am not sure what are next plan is but sure would love to put some meat in the freezer.

Ok bud this unit is a lot of fields (= tasty critters), but the east side looks to have plenty of public ground.
