I'm about to buy a new 20 MOA picatinny base for my Weatherby Mk5 Accumark 30-378. Between the 2 listed above which would you go with? thanks

D

Well, I just got back from a local gun shop here in Spokane where the owner seemed like I would do pretty well with a Brownells picatinny scope base for my Savage. Ill end up using the Burris tactical rings with my Leupold VXIII. Let's hope I've made good choices.

FYI, Near makes a VERY nice product but if you aren't familiar with their product line be prepared for sticky shock cause they're expensive too.

THG,
You will not go wrong with either one. The only thing you might want to look at is base height if scope height matters to you.
