I run my pocket uniformer thru them everytime, it is just one of the steps I always do in my case prep.

I always swage the pockets on new brass so that the primer seats uniformly. This is more important on Remington/Winchester brass than it is on the higher-end stuff like Lapua brass. It also cleans/clears the pocket when reloading used brass.

I've always Uniformed pockets and Deburred flash holes (both just one time).
But I've also always cleaned the pockets every reload. I hand de-prime and hand prime the cases also.
I've been told that uniforming and deburring isn't necessary on Lapua brass however, because they are supposedly machined instead of punched.??

You have Lapua & Norma mixed up.
Lapua is not as uniform, and can benefit from pocket work.

Mike, I disagree. I load only Lapua and Norma brass. IMO, Lapua is equally as good as Norma. I have checked flash holes and primer pockets on each many times, and found no benefit to prepping them. With virgin brass, I always champfer the mouths inside and out, F/L size and expand the necks. After each firing, I do clean the residue from the pockets, and that's it. Rem and Winchester are just the opposite. They require primer pocket uniforming, flash hole deburring, the whole 9 yards,

Well for one, Lapua quality depends on cartridge and lot. I have never seen this with Norma.
Norma cartridges include machined case heads, drilled (not punched) flash holes and close tolerance wall thickness.
I cull less of Norma into a trash can with H20 capacity checks, than I do Lapua.
Beyond sample, I now buy Lapua only in large quantity -by LOT, that I've held and measured. Nothing worse than buying 1,000 Lapua 6BR cases only to find I got a bum lot of pure crap!
Never have I been disappointed with Norma. Theres just no risk with it.
Just picked up 1,000 6XC in Norma, and so far, I don't see how it gets better.
The reason I'm adamant about this, is because of a herd murmurring psuedo-fact that Lapua is the best. I like Lapua too, but this doesn't stand the test of measurement, and I'm not the only one noticing. 6.5x284L disappeared for over a year while Lapua was forced to reconsider their American standards. They had power dumped too much crap our way, and competitors were complaining and moving on. Their cartridges are based on brass quality. Long term, consistent brass quality.
So if you can get both Lapua and Norma for a cartridge, you'd be wise to atleast pick up some Norma for comparison. And you might do so before even choosing a cartridge.
Believe it or not, the best brass I've ever measured is within a lot of Win 25WSSM (their reloading brass)....
This compelled me to go 6.5WSSM over 260AI.
