What an absolute bunch of crap! The icing on the cake was the Dem from Oakland of all places, worried about the police protecting them AGAINST LEGAL CARRIERS. Isnt Oakland one of the worst crime ridden and gang infested places in the U.S.? Wouldnt it make more sense to arm everyone who was legal to carry, and tell them to defend themselves against the hoodrat gangbangers, and the like? Ill bet crime would fall off Drasticly if the good guys statred shooting back!!!!!
First they make you carry un-loaded, then take away your right to use bullets (the lead kind) now they want you to disarm, so the only people with guns are street thuggs. Apparently California law makers failed History class. When the bad guys have all the firepower, and they finally take over the state, with exception of Northern Cal. ( I have hope for the last of the normal Californian/Americans in Northern Cal.), Ill bet those same California law maker iddiots will wonder why. And those same vermin will flee like the vermin they are, to the places that can and WILL defend themselves (Northern Cal. and the rest of the boardering states), from such scum as they(the law makers) have allowed to flourish.
Brain dead law makers and politicians will always do thier very best to screw up anything that is good and right. FIGHT BACK AND VOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Your laws have an effect on the rest of us weather you know it or not. What stupid and absurd law makers pass in your state influences stupid and absurd law makers in our states too. VOTE TO SEND THOSE IDDIOTS PACKIN'!!!!! Please, if not for you and your state, do it for the rest of us.

Sir Edmund Burke, an Irish politician of the late 1700's and considered to be the father of modern conservatism is credited with saying, "All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing." This quote is probably better attributed to Leo Tolstoy from his noted work "War and Peace," but it does define for us the task at hand for each of us who cherish and love our freedom as much as the framers of our constitution did.

What Edmund Burke did say is this, "When bad men combine, the good must associate; else they will fall one by one, an unpitied sacrifice in a contemptible struggle."

Those of us who have fought in the wars of this country to protect that which is dearest to us all, our right to choose provided we do not infringe on the rights of another, must combine with all others who share our passion in the never ending struggle that will preserve these liberties.

This country was established by God as a bastion of freedom before all the world and it is greater than all the Obama's, Palosi's, Reid's, Boxer's and their ilk who would in their lust for power put all others under the heel of their ideology.

We will ultimately triumph because God is on our side and based upon our never ending faith in Him and our unity of cause in defending the principles He founded this country upon we will not fall one by one, but will as a united body stand together always to raise the flag of our United States, with all its bruises, tears, wounds, and undaunted courage as those who raised the flag on Iwo Jima did.

I wish I had that eloquence when I called morons, morons, but Im too simple to come up with a pretty way to put it. Yours is much less offensive and gets the point accross in a more cool manner. All we can hope for and pray for is that the idiots responsible for the anti gun laws in Kookafornia find themselves in a situation where it suddenly becomes crystal clear to them that at that precise time in their lives they desperately need a gun. These individuals will of course not have a gun and they will either be eliminated from the gene pool or if they are lucky enough to survive they just might change their minds about CCW and gun ownership in general.

What's the thinking behind a ban on carrying an unloaded firearm?

Can't think of a reason I'd carry unloaded and if some do then how big a number could that be and what problem is it causing that would warrant passing legislation?

But if all good men and women came together and decided to stop crime and gangs, there would be no use for guns in that area. Gun or no gun, criminals harass people because we let them. Come together, form night watches, don't take no **** from criminals.
