Berger Bullets

I typically shoot the nosler options. Am I missing anything by not checking out the Bergers?

All depends on what you want to use them for. Shots on game past 500 yds they are worth a look. Could be more difficult to settle on a good load but there is a good thread on here by Eric Stecker on how to set them up to find the best load.

For the longer range shoots they are well worth a try. They can be very picky about seating depth but other then that are a great all around bullet.

With that said i shoot Noslers B-Tips and accubond for almost all of my hunting. The other stuff is reserved for the longer range stuff beyond 1200 yards.

Nosler, Hornady, Barnes, Speer and others make great hunting bullets, but you never see them in the lists of competition match winners. Other than custom made match bullets, Bergers generally are the most accurate over the counter. Sierras (in general) are second best.

I have not used Berger hunting grade bullets, but they are reputed to work well in the field. .
