I was wondering what everyone's smallest groups have been . I'm a die hard Remington man but if that Savage you have has been stackin em brag away:) let's hear it.....

Seriously, I would like to know what kind of groups everyones getting so I will know what my rifle is doing compared to other Long range shooters.
# of shots fired .
P.s. know matter how big or small the grouop is lets hear it (please keep it honest though) .

Thanks for reading and happy gun)

I shot a 1.399 group at 600yds. It was with my 6BR. at a match. The gun was on a Remington action in an H&S stock. At 1000yds I shot a 5.400 group. I shot it with a 7mm RUM. The bench boys did't really like geting spanked by 2 hunting guns. I was very lucky both days with good conditions. Dan

1.399 @ 600yds awesome !!
How many shots @ 1000 did you shoot that day ? I would have been jumping for joy if I had of shot a 3 shot group that measured 5.400 .

Hopefully in a few days i'm going to try my hand @ 1000 grouping

Thanks for posting and good job on the smoke pole:)

This is probably my best. I have only had two ever go under 3". But many 5"~6"

Disance was 1000 yards 3 shots.

This target pic gives me that warm fuzzy feeling inside kind of like hanging a curve at high speed and sliding through it in a 4 wheel drift:D

shooting that group is awesome but to take it further it is were all three landed on the target that speeks just as highly to me.

Gret job .

P.S. you should start your own shooting school:)

Hot dog !! what a nice group :) could you tell us a little about that rifle like how fast the big bear pushes the .338 bullet that you shot that target with ? If you have a pic of the rifle that would be great I imagine it's one of those 2 man rifles:)

ICANHITHIMMAN. nice shooting looks like you have that .280 dialed in ........
Good Job Mr. Russo

Thanks for posting guys.

The rifle is a trim 19 lbs...

It will usually hang around 12" at 1,760 yards if I do my part.
The .338 Big Baer is the .338-.408 improved. I shoot the 300 SMK at a comfortable 3200 fps.

.338-.408 next to a 6BR

I like this thread. I am going to go out after work and shoot 500 with my tikka t3 lite in 25-06 this afternoon. i will post the pic later. It will only be a 3 shot though cause after my barrel gets warm on that rifle accuracy goes downhill

Joel,
Did you post that target above your bed? I know I would have. So far my personal best it 13" at 1000 yrds with Lapua off bipod and rear sand bag . If I would have been smart enough to bring a camera I would have picture above my bed .
