Gents ,
I've been working with this case for a short time now .... maybe , 100 rounds loaded , same 20 cases ... and started to have case separations ( 5 reloads) about 1/2" above the web . I was wondering how many reloads you all are averaging on this Remington Brass . I have been shooting 250 SMK's , But , a Buddy has been shooting 300 SMK's and has experienced the same .

You must be getting a fair amount of case stretch, how often are you triming?

i'd say a better question would be how far are you pushing the shoulder back?

same problem for my 338egde. after 11 reloading on the same case I start getting case separation 1/2 from the web.

I was pushing the shoulder to much. Now I fixed the problem, after I leave a slight gape between the FL Size press and case holder in full press. (when you are lowering your FL die, the manufactures told you to lower the Die till is touching the case holder. This will drive you in case separation due to much shoulder push back, and every time when you fire, the case will expand more to return to your chamber dimension.
So the web is the area where your case will expand and you will get soon ore later the case separation.
Just turn back your FL resize die to NOT TOUCH THE CASE HOLDER (lleave a light tine hair gap between them).

I shot a 338edge with 30in Rock Crick barell
92gr H1000 (93.5gr I got sticky bolt) so I lower it down.

I got 12 reloading per case, and trim the case 4 times.

dont know howyou guys get so many loads per case primer pockets get too loose too quick with no pressure in my rifle wish lapua would make 300 rum brass as is i will be going too lapua imp this winter.

Hi Cody,

This load is mild in my 338edge, and I trim the case just when Is hard to insert/extract in chamber.
Keep in mind every barell is diferent, and in some you will see pressure signs early then in others.
