Has anyone set up a target monitor system to see bullet holes at long range.
Need to know what receiver and transmitter to buy for wireless system for out to 1000 yds .
would like to build my own.

I'm very interested in this also. I've done some research but haven't progressed very far. Too many projects in the fire at the moment.

There is a fella selling a system that is pretty pricey. I'll do another search and see if I can refind the info.

I'm waiting for the Hubble to fall out of the sky then nab it.:)

I have seen the package on the 6 BR site, all I need is the receiver and transmitter just don't know which one to buy. Ajoka.com Has them just don't know which one to get. Any electronics guy's out their ! need to reach 1000 yds

1eye,

The AJ - 1515 RT that pops up first looks like a good start.

1.5 Watts and 1-3km line of sight distance should get you in the ball park.

The antennae are not much on gain. A decent directional antenna on the xmitter would most probable boost a bunch.

There ain't gonna be a free lunch on this idea. But the less you know about electronics the better chance you have of NOT over engineering the system.

I've heard that 1.5 Ghz range is not the best for some reason or another.

There are 802.11 jury rigged systems that range in miles.

Like Roy I have been interested for awhile but to **** busy to get serious. Went to the Ajoka website and subscribed so I could see some prices. Wow very reasonable and a lot of stuff. Thanks for that. Had no idea they even existed.

If you put something together I would sure like to hear what you used and how well it works.

I have looked into this and decided that for the money to buy a good system I could buy a
very good spotting scope(No Electronics) and use it while hunting also.

Just a though
