the b.c for the 338 lapua tsx 285gr.is .585 from thir 2010 catalog
the b.c. for the338 lapua 265gr.TTSX is .575.

The 225 Grain TTSX has a BC of .514 and can be driven to much higher velocities. The 285 does not have enough of a BC advantage to peak my interest. the difference is only .071 and the 225 TTSX can be driven several hundred FPS faster

 

[Long Time Long Ranger]

The 185 ttsx is .435 or so and my lapua can drive it near 3600 fps. Great flat shooter under 800 yards.

ok thanks. i thought it might be a contender for a good long range bullet that is actually a hunting bullet. obviously there are still better choices
