Ok guys, so I was out shootin the other day and was supposed to be home by 3:00pm, so I sent mamma a msg that said Id be late and Id be home by 5...... so 6:00 rolled around and I was still out in the desert shootin when I saw the time..... Anyways, I get home, and mammas eyes are swollen from crying and I cant figure out why she's so upset.
THEN SHE DROPPED THE BOMB................ WE'RE GONNA HAVE ANOTHER BABY!WOAH! very unexpected! but WAY COOL! So heres my question;
got any names? We both like Hunter for a boy, and Ive got her talked into Kimber for a girl, :D but we cant aggree on any middle names. hahaha
She's ruled out John Wayne, and Sam Colt for boy names(ya I tried) Her maiden name was GUNN, so I tried for Hunter Gunn, but she's on the fence (thinks its too redneck) I dont know how thats so wrong, but thats what she thinks. As far as girls go I wanted Kimber Sierra (OK maybe I was influenced by loading components but she doesnt know that:)) But again she's on the fence with Sierra...... Any help from the shootin community here at L/R/H would be appreciated. (Oh & Im not a Remington fan, so thats out too......sorry).
Thanks guys T.J. Ewing (winmag)

Congrats! Ok my daughters nick name is Scout from To Kill a Mocking Bird. If our the next child is a boy I'm pushing for Hunter the real name will be something else if my wife has her way just like Kathryn Elizibeth is for my little girl. Just think. My wife is as much of a huntr as I am.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Blessing to you, your wife and upcoming baby.
Maybe BIG BUCK HUNTER is too redneck also:D
Good luck.

Hunter , Trapper and Fisher... I know of a family in the midwest that have 3 boys with these names..

I like Wyatt, Dillon, and Sage too.

Big Congrats!

Jeff

congratulations man!! Another future long range hunter!

I would make sure his or her initals spell out D.R.T if possible. Or L.R.H. May need to change your last name, but what the heck?

As for names, Sierra for a girl is good, I also like Edge for a boy. :D Or what about ackley? Let me know if you need any other names :D

once again, congrats man! Quite a surprise to get after walkin in after a trip to the range.

No names come to mind right now but, in the meantime Congratulations. While I'm thinking of names I'm going to keep in mind that one lives a lifetime with the name and while it might be cute or neat when young it's not always...well I'm going to think it through.:)

Thanks for the suggestions guys! this is fun. Ive got a 4 yr old boy, Riley Colton Ewing, and a 2 yr old little girl, Bailey Nicole Ewing. So boy or girl were excited.
I tried for initials with A.C.E., But like always mamma put the ki-bosch on it. Oh well. We've got time and Im sure theyre will be more suggestions...........
Thanks again from a happy, anxious daddy!

Great!!!!! Happy for you. Nothin' better than children..

The names for your two little ones are beautiful. The process that came up with them should be followed.

However, since you asked.

If the uncle names them 'Denice' or 'De-nephew" would work. Plus the hyphen is nifty.

Then there's Hazer if there's any horses or steers around to play with.

Hows about Phineas, Phart or Phogg (I used these for Dogs:D)

Philbert Ogive would be cool.

Rheamer - Heck I kind of like that one.

How about simply "Click"

For a girl Mirage would work.

And there's Wind Drift........

Lug sounds a little red neckie.....

:):)

Always been kinda partial to John Moses ________. I've got all boys, never considered girls as an option, positive thinking has prevailed to this point and I believe I'm done having any more at this stage so unable to help with the girl name. Congrats and good luck!

I'm sure glad you didn't have a heart attack!!!

My youngest grand son, not quite 2 y/o, before hi left home with
his parents that speak to him in English; he said in Spanish:
"Alabaré! Amen!" and repeated it 3 times or so... Man I was a
proud grandpa!!! Them little people are a true blessing.

Congratulations to you!!!

Names are important and is a good idea to pray about it. In the Bible
many folks got their name changed by the Lord; like Moses, Sarah,
Job, Peter, etc.

Great Blessing!
