I am looking at a Winchester Classic Sporter 25/06 bolt action rifle. It is supposed to be bran new still in the box but labeled as an older model. Can anyone give me any idea of hold old this gun might be? Also can I get any likes or dislikes about the accuracy, trigger pull or anything else. The gun has a real nice oiled stock I actually thoughti was a Sako when I first looked at it. Thanks all the info will be appreciated.

Get the serial number and find out when it was made. There are all sorts of variations of Winchesters out there. There are some really good ones being made now. There were some copies of the Pre-64 Winchesters made along the way that are, IMO, better than the Pre-64 Wwinchesters.

The newest classic Winchesters that are being made now are IMO the best Winchesters ever made.
