WTS 338 Edge on a Savage Taget Action(barreled action only)added bullets and dies

I'm selling my Edge, barreled action only. I mainly bought the gun for the stock, for another build i got going on right now. It was the only way I could get a Mcmillan A-5 for my LRPV action without waiting forever. Here Is the info on the gun.

It is a Savage Target action single shot with stockage bolt knob and action kit. The barrel is a 338 edge 30" 10 twist with 8- 1/4" deep flutes which is 1.1" tapers down to .900" at the muzzle. On the end is a APA fat basterd muzzle brake. The whole rifle was built by Benchmark Barrels, the action/barrel/brake were all bead blasted to blend perfectly. It has only been fired 65rds, now 80rds Just so we are clear yes this is a short action edge it will eject spent casings with ease however if you need to unload a loaded round you have to pull out the bolt.

Asking $1350, drop price to $1275, dropped price again $1225 shipped and insured in a hard case to your FFL.

Everything was done by previous owner the way I understood it, it was trueing of the action and blueprinting.

The action cycles very smoothly it feels better than my factory lrpv action.

On my digital bathroom scales it weighs 7.5lbs. This is the only way I have of measureing, I don't know how accurate it is. I'd like to say for my sake they weigh heavy....lol

Took the gun out yesterday and shot it. I did not have any 300smks so I shot some of 250 hornadys this is a pet load for one of my other edges. With 99 gr of retumbo and a fed lrg mag primer it shot a little over an inch at 250 yds. That load doesn't like any bullet tension I loaded 15 rounds and had 4 that I seperated becouse of to much tension and they went out to almost two inches. So light tension is were it shoots best.
