Berger Load Tables-----including 30-06 data for 210VLD's

I called Berger for Load data on the 30-06 and 210gr VLD's.

They sent me a fairly comprehensive set of tables for quite a few calibers.

I am not able to attach the entire pdf file but using the typewriter function I was able to copy and paste the Berger 210 loads for the 30-06. See below.

You should give Berger a call and ask for load data and they will get it to you asap if your in need of the information.

Excellent firm.

Im not sure about your data, but the data they gave me for the .300 RUM was generated in Quickload. Just thought Id throw that out there.

The tables they sent me do not have any text to denote them as Berger intellectual property, nor does it denote anywhere that it was generated by Quickload or any other program.

As I do not have quickload, the data tables that they sent me are still appreciated as info to initiate building up to loads, regardless of how they were generated as long as that source was trustworthy.

I imagine that since the company rep sent it to me, that as long as I follow the data and normal safe practices, it will work fine for me.

I'm not knocking them in any way ! Walt Berger is the one that sent me my info. It is much appreciated, and says a lot for the company.

In my 30-06 with the heavy 210 VLD I found H4831 in Norma Brass to be excellent.

With the 185/190's the H4350 gave the best results

I use Norma Brass and RWS 5341 primers gun)

Most people don't list it, but for the heavies, yall should try 7828 SSC, 7977, or H1000 in the .30-06.

I use a lightly compressed load of 7828 SSC in my .30-06 AI behind 185 VLD's.

Look up MontanaMarine's write ups with the 215 berger. He was using RL17 for alot more speed

Your data for IMR-4828S should be IMR-7828 SSC and that's load from Berger reloading manual as most of those are.

hey Alaska, I was wondering g if you had any more info on your 210 load that you could give us.....I am trying to find a good reliable and accurate load for my -06 and from what I can find, H4831sc is by far the most temperature insensitive powder. I know there are some loads in various caliber/powder combos that tend to be extremely consistent temp wise but I didn't see one for what I was looking at. I have talked to a couple guys who are doing great things with Re17 and some others, but I am trying to find something more temp stable. I just loaded up an OCW set of loads up to 58 grains at 3.34" with no signs of pressure at 11 degrees today. I know it's fairly cold but I will monitor as I'm shooting and temps warm. I was getting an average of 2584 fps, which isn't too bad since I'm willing to sacrifice a bit to stay constant. (22" barrel by the way) I am using WLR primers now but am thinking about dropping back down and working my way up with magnum primers to see if this particular load gives any more fps. Do you have your COAL length for your load? I'm using 210 nosler accubond long range, not that it should be too much different but figured I share. anybody else's experience would be appreciated as well, thanks guys.

I single load my 30-06, (I would have to check my notes on the exact COAL) and am running a 208 ELD at 2681fps average with Reloader 17. I'm currently using up my existing loads so I can Hex coat them and should be able to break 2700+ fps.

A lot of people say they experienced temp sensitivity with Reloader 17. I haven't noticed any with grain weights in the mid fifties with the 30-06 case, but I have in the 6.5 Creedmoor..
