I am getting awesome groups at the lower end of the spectrum 88 to 89 grains. The hotter I've gone, the worse the groups become. What kind of loads is everyone getting good groups with? I read that some of you are loading several grains above max and getting good accuracy/velocity. How far above max? I am shooting a sendero and I would really like to squeeze more velocity from it or I wouldn't be shooting this cartridge. Any advice?

I feel like this has been beaten to death but my searches didn't get me anything conclusive. What's everyone's go to with this combo?

I have mentioned before, that in my group, we have (3) Rem 700 300 RUMS and we shoot the exact combo you mentioned.

my gun likes 90.5 grains the best, my father in laws likes 91 grains and my dads likes 91.5. We shot groupes with each load, starting at either 88 or 89.

My sendero likes 87 to 87.5 grains of H-1000 everytime I tried to load what everyone else states on this site I got the sticky bolt handle feel and my groups opened up . As for retumbo same thing my gun or I should say my Target likes 85.5 grains of retumbo that's the low side by bergers data my 200 yrd group measured .318 one ragged hole... :) Speed is great but accuracey is better, that's why I have a ppc with NF software :D Just my .02

I dont have a chrono, but my exbal validated at 3042 with the 91.5 grain load. This gun also has a DE brake. I dont remember the validated velocity of the other loads but i do remember that there wasnt much difference.

Bigbuck,
Don't tell me that your Sendero is bone stock. That would make me happy as hell to get groups like that at 200yds. Have you done anything to it?

Disregard I thought this was a current post
